Blanketing half of Il San Pietro’s grounds, our gardens are a living mosaic carved into the rockface—ten cascading terraces bursting with color, fragrance, and flavor.

A stroll down 400 stone steps leads from the hotel lobby to the beach, weaving through lemon groves, tomato vines, and wild herbs that perfume the air. Along the way, guests are invited to taste and discover, to connect with the roots of our cuisine—literally.

It takes four full-time gardeners to maintain this hillside Eden, cultivating seasonal fruits, vegetables, and flowers exclusively for our restaurants.

Under the guidance of an expert agronomist, crop cycles are precisely orchestrated to ensure peak ripeness and freshness all year long. The result? Menus that evolve with the rhythm of nature, honoring the land with every bite.
Even the vibrant floral arrangements that grace our rooms and hallways are born here, handpicked from blooms grown from local seeds native to the Amalfi Coast. Certified organic and passionately nurtured, our gardens are more than a source of ingredients—they are the heart and soul of Il San Pietro’s culinary identity.
